Catching up with a radio legend

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — John Saville is one of Connecticut’s longest-serving radio DJs. He has been on the air since before the internet, long before satellite radio and AirPods.

Saville was a high school football and baseball star and was even scouted by the Boston Red Sox as a pitcher, so how did he get started in radio?

Aside from being on-air for iHeart radio with Hartford’s Country 92.5, he still lifts weights and does cardio daily.
