This new policy is aimed at encouraging readers to take responsibility for their online comments, and to avoid anonymous trolling and negativity in the online community. CBC’s online platforms are part of a public space where people from all backgrounds and perspectives should feel welcome to share their opinions in a respectful and civil manner.
