Together, Stanley and McFarlane founded an online radio network for women, Broad Radio.

Biggin & Scott Elsternwick’s Daniel Ashton declined to comment on the house’s owners but said the two-level property’s “renovation and restoration” had been done in sympathy with its original style.
“I think the extent of the art deco features throughout like the fireplaces, leadlight windows and twisted pylons in the arches is impressive,” Mr Ashton said.
“The return staircase has a beautiful iron handrail with marble tiles on the steps, it’s a grand feature.”

Bi-fold cafe doors open from the living and dining space to the garden.
Mr Ashton said the reno included “three beautiful brand-new bathrooms and an updated kitchen”.
The property was ideal for entertaining, he added.
“There’s bi-fold cafe doors, so in summer you can open up the north and west side of the home,” he said.
The abode will be auctioned on August 26 with a $3.3m-$3.6m asking range.
