Tennessee Temple University graduate Rev. Jay Anderson begins a new Southern Gospel Music program on Saturday and Sunday evenings at 7 p.m. on WDYN AM and FM and WDYN.com.

General Manager Tom Sneed said, “We are excited about Pastor’s Anderson’s new program, ”Harmony ‘n Truth,” a combination of Southern Gospels best, both new and some evergreens.”

Southern Gospel Harmony-N-Truth is hosted by Jay Anderson. A native of Mississippi, he attended and graduated from Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga in 1994 and he is also a graduate of Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in Lynchburg, Va. He and his wife Amy met at TTU and have been happily married for 31 years. They have four children and in November of 2022, welcomed their first grandchild into the world.

After living in the Chattanooga, TN/North Georgia area for 15 years, Mr. Anderson and his family moved back to Mississippi where he entered the pastorate. He has served as pastor of three churches across the state of Mississippi and currently serves as pastor of First Baptist Church, Winona, Ms.

Mr. Anderson has been a radio disc jockey off and on through the years beginning in high school at the age of 17. Ever since his first days on the air, he had dreams of hosting his own Southern Gospel radio program. God opened the door for those dreams to become a reality in March of 2016. That was when the green light was given for him to proceed with a Southern Gospel radio show to air on WBKN-FM in Brookhaven, MS. Harmony-N-Truth went on the air in November of 2016 and continues to air each weekend on WBKN-FM. Since then, the following radio stations have added Harmony-N-Truth to their programming: WFCA-FM in French Camp, MS; WDRO-FM in Monticello, MS; WPIL-FM in Heflin, AL; internet radio station www.newjourneyradio.com; and the most recent stations, WDYN-AM & FM in Chattanooga, TN.

Mr. Anderson’s goal through this radio program is to encourage the saints of God and point people to Jesus. His hope is that you receive a blessing from listening to Southern Gospel Harmony-N-Truth.

WDYN AM 980, FM Frequencies 94.7 and 94.9 and on the internet at wdyn.com.
