Riley Green ‘cancels’ Bud Light for sponsoring Dylan Mulvaney

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE: Riley Green has gone viral after he joined other country singers in boycotting Bud Light after it partnered with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney. On Friday, April 14, the 34-year-old singer/songwriter was entertaining the crowd at the Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee, when he changed the lyrics of his song “I Wish Grandpas Never Died.”

Green tweaked the original line “And coolers never run out of cold Bud Light” to “And coolers never run out of cold Coors Light!” to much applause from the concert attendees..

Lawyer Rogan O’Handley posted the video of Green’s Friday concert on Twitter and wrote, “When @RileyGreenMusic sang his hit song ‘I Wish Grandpa’s Never Died’ last night, he changed the lyrics a bit The new line is ‘and coolers never ran out of cold Coors Light’ instead of Bud Light The crowd goes nuts.”

The video by O’Handley was viewed over 400k times and received a lot of support for Green. A user tweeted, “Glad to see so much support for what is ‘right’, from various musical artists. Rewriting/Changing lyrics is a serious commitment, depending upon copyright ownership, etc. Have an awesome time at the May concert! You work hard, so play just as hard!”

Another user shared, “He has my complete respect. What an alpha.” The third user wrote, “Go woke go broke.” “Riley Green is an alpha male! Anheuser-Busch stonks are in the tank. Bud light is officially canceled!” the fourth one said and the fifth user added, “AT THE CONCERT: Riley Green just changed the lyrics from Bud Light… the crowd ROARED. Man, I love Tennessee.”

A tweet read, “Went to Luke combs last night. Riley green opened. His song wish grandpas never died he said cold coors light instead of bud light.
